Job Summary

Reporting to the CEO, the Corporate Controller will be responsible for managing the finance and accounting departments providing information, primarily financial in nature, about all company activities that will assist management in making educated economic decisions about the company's future. The Controller oversees all aspects of accounting and finance for the Company. Establish, streamline and execute internal controls over the Company’s accounting and financial procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Oversee the activities of the corporate accounting department for the accurate and timely dissemination of financial management reports including, but not limited to, internal and external monthly financial statements and annual audits and budgets.
  • Proven ability to interface successfully with Banks, Outside Accounting Firm, Attorneys, Benefit Providers and Administrators and Insurance Agencies to maintain and improve the relationships and services
  • Develop and coordinate strategic plans, monthly forecasts, goals and objectives for management including financial reconciliations, reports, variance analysis and cost control reporting and recommendations.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable, purchase orders, petty cash, core employee expense reports, cash control, core payroll processing and total corporate payroll tax compliance.
  • Oversee the activities of the accounts receivable department to ensure the accurate and timely management of all accounts receivable aging components including billings, cash receipts application, etc.
  • Establish and maintain systems and controls that verify the integrity of all systems, processes and data, and enhance the company's value.
  • Respond to CEO as assigned with accurate and timely reports whenever required.
  • Communicate with co-workers, management, clients and others in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, MBA a plus.
  • Ten years of hands-on accounting & finance background preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • 3-5 year’s supervisory experience.
  • Above average analytical skills; intellectual rigor and curiosity; problem solving capability.
  • Able to prepare, analyze and interpret financial and operational data/reports
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without Company sponsorship now or in the future.
